The Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) plans to launch a brand new blockchain community to assist its non-fungible token (NFT) collectibles, the group introduced on April 30.
FIFA will launch its “FIFA Blockchain,” with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility and goals to supply “better performance, future features, and improved scalability.”
As a part of the transfer, FIFA Collect—its official NFT assortment—will migrate from the Algorand blockchain to the brand new FIFA Blockchain. The migration is scheduled to start no sooner than May 20, FIFA stated.
